I’m Autumn…a mom to two little girls, wife, and teacher. I’ve been an Iowa girl my entire life until we made a move last summer to Illinois for my husband to venture on a new career opportunity! It’s been a big change, but we are adjusting very well!
I have a passion for cooking and always want to try new things! I strive to make lots of things in my own kitchen instead of eating out or buying pre-packaged meals. I want to provide healthy, homemade meals for my family! I’m not the best baker, but am trying very hard and I am also trying to master the art of making homemade bread!

I’ve always been an English teacher at the middle school and high school level until this year….we moved due to my hubby’s job and I am trying my hand at being a reading specialist this year! It’s been a very interesting and challenging change!!

I use to live in Davenport Iowa and before that we lived in Sioux City Iowa. Born and raised in Nebraska but now we live in North Central California. I don’t intend to ever move from here but even so I still love the Midwest. The people are amazing and friendly there.
