My sister better l0ve me. This little care package is headed her way.
I made monster cookies because, really, how can you not love these?
If I had it my way, i would have added raisins and dried cranberries to these also, but the husband said doing that would ruin them, so I just added extra M&M’s. :)
Monster Cookies
-3 eggs
-1 cup sugar
-1 1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-1 1/2 cup peanut butter
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-2 teaspoons baking soda
-4 cups oatmeal
-1/2 cup chocolate chips
-1/3 cup peanut butter chips
-3/4 cup M&M’s
Mix together the eggs and both sugars. (Don’t be like me and forget one until the end!) When those are mixed, add the butter, vanilla, peanut butter and salt. Mix this up. Add baking soda and mix again!
Add oatmeal, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and M&M’s. Mix.
Bake these at 350 for approximately 10 minutes. Some of mine took a little longer because some of them were larger cookies! Let the cookies sit for a few minutes before taking them off of the pan….if you don’t they fall apart. This is a lesson I learned the first time I made oatmeal cookies a few years ago! 
Serve these up with a nice big glass of milk!
I had to send a bunch to work with the Good Eats Guy also….I would sit around and eat them all week if I left them in the house!
I did, however, save some for the girls to have as a snack this afternoon!
They thought they were pretty good!

I love monster cookies! I also do pretty much the same thing and call them “kitchen sink” cookies where I just sort of throw whatever I have (often a combo of oatmeal, choc chips, coconut, candy, etc) in the house at the time.

Mmm… I haven’t had M&Ms in cookies in a long time! I always box up and ship in baked goods to work with my boyfriend, it’s the best way to stop me from eating them all. (And trust me, I would.)
