I hope that you all had a super relaxing weekend!
We spent yesterday finding eggs, eating monkey bread, and relaxing while waiting for dinner to finish cooking!
As you can see, we had some very successful egg hunters!

The Easter bunny was successful as the girls were very excited with all the of the eggs and loot the bunny left!
I prepped breakfast the night before because monkey bread was requested!
Monkey Bread
You need…
-18 frozen dinner rolls (I use Rhode’s)
-1 package butterscotch cook and serve pudding ( do NOT use instant)
-1/4 cup margarine or butter
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
Use cooking spray to coat a bundt pan. Add in rolls and pour pudding mix over the top of them. Then melt butter, cinnamon and brown sugar together. Pour mixture over top of rolls.
Cover and let rise overnight.
In the morning, lightly cover rolls with tin foil and place in oven. Cook at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. I always take the foil off for the last five minutes to brown the top because that’s how I like it! :)
Then flip this onto a plate so that the deliciousness will go all over the bread!
SO GOOD!!! I don’t make this often because it’s not the most healthy thing to have for breakfast, but it’s a yummy treat to have every once in a while!
After we finished breakfast, we hung out for a while and before we knew it, dinner needed to be made!
The Good Eats Guy wanted to handle the ham, so I said go for it! We bought an 8 pound spiral sliced ham. He decided that he was going to put the ham in a roaster on the grill and free up the oven for me to use! He poured some cherry coke on the ham and placed the pan on the grill. This cooked for about 90 minutes.
Then, we made a glaze out of cherry coke, brown sugar, and butter. This went over the ham for a half hour or so. It turned out like this!
And I handled the rest. I made focaccia bread, green bean casserole (my favorite!!), deviled eggs and of course mashed potatoes!
It was a super tasty meal and I didn’t even have room for dessert…I was stuffed! We will be replicating this ham again…I coudn’t believe how much flavor it had!
What is your favorite holiday food?!
I’m a huge fan of green bean casserole. I usually eat my weight in the stuff and have told my mom to add an extra can of beans in it so that I don’t eat it all!
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and are having a GREAT Monday! I had the day off, so I am trying to finish up all of the things that we didn’t get done this weekend!

I’ve never made monkey bread but my boyfriend’s sister loves making it

I’m not a huge ham person but am definitely intrigued by a cherry Coke glaze!!! And damn you with your Monkey Bread! That stuff is delish but I would be morbidly obese if I indulged in it as much as I want to.
