I’m going to have to finally admit it…I’m obsessed with food/cooking shows.  Even more so than I’ve ever been.

Last night Chopped:All Stars was on.  Robert Irvine is one of my favorite chefs to watch on tv!  I was SO excited to see him on the show!

Anne Burrell was also on the show last night!  They hosted Worst Cooks in America which I was also addicted to! :)

I have also watched the first episode of America’s Next Great Restaurant, and that was pretty good too!  Thank goodness for my DVR so I can catch up on everything over the weekends!

What are you watching lately?

In other news, daylight savings time has officially kicked my booty.  I know it’s only an hour that we lose, but I seriously feel it!  I should have went to be earlier than I did last night so I was more well rested today, but that didn’t happen!  Whoops!  Since I was a little sleepy work seemed to drag on a bit.

I came home tonight and whipped up a batch of chicken and noodles.  I put chicken broth, shredded chicken, sauteed onion,  potatoes, and carrots in a pan and boiled until the potatoes started getting tender.  Then I added the noodles and corn and cooked until the noodles were done.  I thickened it up with some corn starch and called it dinner!

This is one of my favorite meals, but one of my husband’s least favorite.  He was at a meeting tonight, so I made this for the girls and I and there is more than enough for me to have leftovers for lunch the rest of the week!  Yay!

I also needed to make it one more time before I retire the winter meals for the season!

It was 50 degrees today and supposed to hit the mid-60′s later this week!  WAHOO!!!  I’m so ready for spring!!

What’s your weather like?!

Its been really rainy and windy here. The rain I’m used to, but the wind is annoying.

I loved both of those shows! I was telling a friend I always thought Anne was kind of annoying, but now that I’ve actually seen more shows with her on, I kind of love her :) And the food she makes is amazing!

I have been watching more foodnetwork lately too, not sure why. Top Chef is my fave though, if you don’t watch that you totally should!
