I’ve professed my love of all things orange-cinnamon flavor and last week as I was making French toast, I had an idea that I wanted to try out using these flavors. I tried my little experiement this morning!
I made orange-cinnamon French toast!
You’ll need:
-3 eggs
-zest of one orange
-2 teaspoons of vanilla
-Juice of half an orange
-cinnamon (I just sprinkled a bunch…I don’t think that you can have too much!)
Mix everything together and cook!
This was really good! It tasted like an orange cinnamon roll!!!
Even the little people in my house liked it!
Today we are headed to a carnival for children. I should be ready for a nap by the time that we are done. :) After that, I’m not sure what is on the agenda! We’ll see!

I put some orange zest in my strawberry scones today. Totally took them over the top!
Ohhh this sounds awesome! We made french toast in the middle of the week when a loaf of bread was getting stale, and it was such an abnormal weekday treat! This adaptation would have made it even better. Holding onto it for sure! Enjoy your weekend

That french toast sounds amazing! Orange zest adds such great flavor to anything!
