Yesterday we went to a little kid’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. I’m seriously convinced that Chuck E. Cheese was created to cause parents pain. It is noisy, bright and overrun with craziness. I was in desperate need of a nap by the time that we left.
After having pizza for lunch, we decided that we needed to cook something yummy for dinner!
We sat down to a dinner that looks like this.
I was taking quick pics of dinner while the Good Eats Guy got started. I asked him how the burgers were. His answer was, “Just take a bite.”
OMG. They were AWESOME.
We made jalapeno cheddar burgers again. But this time they were different than the last.
This time we used….
-1 lb. ground beef
-gobs of jalapenos
-sharp cheddar cheese chunks
-Lawry’s and Greek seasoning
Mix all the ingredients together and form into patties. We cooked these in a pan on the stove.

I made some potato wedges and kidney beans to go along with these!
All in all….an awesome Saturday night!

Looks like a great dinner!! I have midterms this week, so I have been studying like mad. And watching too much Grey’s Anatomy when I should be doing more studying. lol
Great looking burgers! I’ve just been savoring time with my husband. He got to come home this weekend. Two weekends in a row!
I also made cinnamon sugar baked donuts!
I just set out some ground pork this morning that I was going to mix up for burgers tomorrow night….now I’m thinking I’ll throw in some jalapeno’s and cheddar cheese!

I did a lot of homework this weekend, went to Costco, and now am getting ready to watch the OSCARS!
My husband has been craving a cheese & jalapeno burger since seeing those Burger King commercials (haha- he obviously doesn’t want the BK version
). Yours look fantastic! Weekend was great- went to a beer fest (as DD

Those burgers are looking good! Love that they’re super thick and have some kick to them due to the jalapeños. My daughter has yet to discover Chuck E Cheese and I’m not looking forward to the day she does.
I worked all day Saturday and then I went grocery shopping early this morning (wanted to miss the crowds), hit the gym, met with study group, and got homework done.
Oh Yeah and I packed my bags and I waiting to hear when I can move into your house so that I can have what you and your family have for dinner each night!! hahaha!

I totally feel you on the Chuck E Cheese thing! The girls I nanny for always want to go there… I always say “I think Chuck E is sick today” – they might be on to me… I’m not gonna lie though, their pizza is PRETTY good isnt it??
